Two new pieces are available as donation music: Aboukir and Electric. Composed, recorded and mixed yesterday with some of the material i have been working on the last few months. If you like Nine Inch Nails, then you might enjoy Electric, and be amused about how I made a cymbalum sound like a very far out electric guitar. Aboukir is more moody, with sax solo's run through a guitar amp. Both pieces is findings which should end up on an album together with Passion. Read more on the blog.

Our music label have been re-baptised, so goodbye to n a u n and welcome to

. The name originates after a composition I wrote under my real name - Michael Nyvang - several years ago. It is very strange, but was actually what lead to this project as well in some way. You can also find a new track to download, and some reorganizations still on the way this fall.

No news is good news. I'm writing music, and such, so havn't had the time to update the things online here. However, you can have a little taste of what I am fooling around with by fetching this mp3 : Passion , its kind of a new style I call no-jazz, as its not jazz, but still. Enjoy.

I have good news, and bad news! The good news is that I'm not dead yet (phew), however the bad news is also, sort of, that I'm not dead yet, as I'm out of money (that sucks ... time to work out how to survive and produce on love and music alone). Most of the world seems to be broke these hard times, even the banks. Still that makes those of us on zero about 300 million dollars richer than several stockbrokers, so lets cheer up, it can't be all that bad after all then :). The albums have to wait for obvious reasons, but I'm working a lot, recording and designing new sounds and material, as well as scoring the first complete live thing for 6 musicians. Once ready, I promise we will invite everyone to a noisy showcase with champagne (or strong beer for the British and Danes of cause) and wierd artsy videos.

Things are busy! So now a new track is up for download Tomorrow is already today remix, this is a small assembly of some of the music in the composition Tomorrow is already today for ensemble and voice. Here mixed with samples and without voice. It is going to be first performed during the Music Harvest festival in Odense Denmark the 31 of october and, who knows, maybe this music is going to become something more, like maybe a musical someday, if someone sends me a good story for it :o).

So September is comming to an end, and the Anna banana release is still not there :(, however I m working on it!! And you can read a bit more on that in the blog. The live act is developing, and if everything works out, there can be quite a lot of smaller underground concerts in Paris this fall to try out various ideas; so keep an eye on the event list! Also the entire 22 minute composition The jazzman will soon become available in a better sound quality as a free donation music download. Its a real crazy cinematic hardcore track, and will bring the donation music available here up to about 2 hours of totally free to download brand new music, how about that :oD

So the first shot at making crazy experimental music to dance in experimental ways in Mick Nye Dance lab, was a succes ... everybody left the room :oO, except Sabine and Jean Jacques! Wauv thank you so much for staying, and saying so nice things afterwards. Anyway everybody else can check out what they missed, as the entire mix is available to download as donation music!. Anyway, a first shot is a first, but not the last :oD. Enjoy the free mix, 32 minutes of great shit! And check out the blog for the story :).

So the one tune a week thing is just about ready, and we will set an official start date for this: 1 of October. And before then, with a little luck the first album should be ready to send out on the various online services. A stroke of desperate passion almost got the next concert cancelled :oO - however, I made it, so the 26 of September at la menagerie de verre I will blend in with the fine people at "Les hommes penches" and do some live mixing. So I will take a fun challenge to make one new track available each week on MySpace and as a free download in the donation music section - how about that, lets put all this fancy gear to work ... first I owe a summertune to Malaika, should have send it to her telephone long time ago really, however lets just keep the summer hot another month then :) And hey ... how about my plant, go buy it some water guys ... its thirsty!
